About Ey Sath
Born in 1970, Japanese.
I had been interested in photography since I was a young boy and I started taking pictures at the age of 16 years old because of my uncle.
Even after studying law in university and working for a bank, my interest in photography didn’t go away.
After leaving the bank, I moved to Italy and spent two years in Milan. Then, I went back to Japan and made movie promotion and I worked in photography for a company in the movie rights business.
At the age of 40, I became an independent photographer.
I’ve been based in Laos since 2015 and working as a photographer in Japan and Italy.
My main genres are advertising photography (especially food, landscape fashion and travel photography) and snapshots.
１９７０年日本生まれ。
幼少の頃から写真に興味を持ち、叔父の影響で１６歳で写真を始める。
その後大学で法律を学び銀行に就職した後も、写真への興味はなくならなかった。
銀行を辞めた後、イタリアに渡り２年間ミラノにて過ごす。
その後日本に戻り映画の広告や映像の版権ビジネスの会社で写真を仕事にする。
４０歳の時に写真家として独立、今に至る。
現在は２０１５年からラオスをベースに日本やイタリアで写真家として活動をしています。
ジャンルは広告写真（特に食べ物、風景、ファッション、旅）、スナップ写真など。
